A Brave Decision by Nokia

Nokia have decieded that they want to release a device in uncharted territory, the netbook market. Nokia have courageously entered the fiercely aggressive notebook marketplace with their 3g computer called ‘The Booklet’. Their plan is that that their incredibly good brand, and the increasing association between cellphones and the web will place them in a strong place to contend with other manufacturers such as Dell, Acer, Toshiba, and Levono.

The notebook boasts on-board 3G, global positioning technology, and an HDMI port for external HD video watching. Looks are definately one of the strong points, with the crystal-clear ten inch screen set in a stylish and professional case, and the battery life of 11 hours is a pure selling point of the laptop. People are speculating about the timing for the announcement of the Nokia Booklet, which is likely to include details about the specification and launch date. Early indications are leaning towards the beginning of October.

3G technology has been a massive driving factor in the rapid growth of the notebook market, and is also giving the cellphone industry a much needed boost; offering users access to the internet whilst on the go. The integrated 3g featured in the Nokia Booklet is looking to be the future, as previously, an external USB dongle has been essential to provide internet to laptops on the move. There are still numerous 3g free laptop deals available on the market for savvy shoppers, where a 3G usb contract can be purchased that comes with a free laptop or notebook.

For existing laptop owners who want to economically take advantage of mobile broadband, there are many pay as you go mobile broadband deals.

The Booklet should be in instant win with prospective buyers in the notebook computer market, with its amazing technology characteristics, and glossy design. The notebook computer marketplace looks set to proceed with it’s maturation by providing inexpensive spectacular tech features. You will no longer need an office, or a big chunky laptop to use the internet in the house. The internet can be browsed from anywhere in the home with little or no trouble. With a stroke of luck, we should see 3g technology being included onboard most new netbooks and laptops.
